This was taken on a blue counter-top, it;s a paper-mache' apple my daughter Abby made in elementary school. I am an apple fanatic, so I keep it proudly displayed on a shelf in my kitchen.

Day 23 Final day of bugs

Yay! I posted one on time! Not a bug, but it is the home of a bug, so....also happy to have taken one in daylight! Gets dark too soon after work, I can't wait for summer.
My husband found this for me, right across the street, and I never even noticed it. Anyone know what kind of a wasp or hornet lived here?

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a bug in the middle of winter in Michigan? I cannot even find a spider...lots of cobwebs, but no spiders....wonder where they go?I wish the whole wing, including the tip, was in focus, this is what I run into with macro....

Yes, I'm a little late on these but the flu hit our house....This is the last of Resolutions, mastering my speddlight. This is very extreme processing, but it was kind of a boring picture, so i wanted to jazz it up a little.
